Contract Duration & Renewal
This policy outlines the terms related to the duration, renewal, and expiration of software licenses and service contracts offered by Al-Bari Technologies for our ERP solutions.
SaaS (Subscription-Based) Contracts
a) Contract Duration
- Monthly Plan: Valid for 30 days from the date of payment.
- Annual Plan: Valid for 365 days from the date of payment.
b) Auto-Renewal
- All SaaS plans are set to automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Customers will be notified via email prior to renewal.
c) Non-Renewal
- You may disable auto-renewal from your account settings or notify us via email at least 5 days before your next billing cycle.
One-Time Purchase Contracts
a) Duration
- The core software license is perpetual (lifetime access).
- Support and updates are included for 1 year from the date of purchase.
b) Renewal for Support & Updates
- After the initial year, continued access to:
- Technical support
- New features
- Bug fixes
...requires annual renewal of the support plan (optional).
c) No Forced Renewal
- Your software will continue to work even if you choose not to renew — but you will no longer receive updates or support.
Implementation Contracts
- Implementation services are billed daily at the agreed rate (e.g., $100/day).
- The duration depends on the scope of deployment and mutual agreement.
- Implementation contracts are separate from license agreements.
Upgrades & Plan Switching
You may upgrade from:
- Monthly to Annual
- SaaS to One-Time (by paying the full one-time fee minus any eligible credit)
Downgrades will apply only after the current billing cycle ends.
Termination
Contracts may be terminated by either party with written notice:
- SaaS: With at least 5 days’ notice before renewal.
- Implementation: With at least 1 day’s notice before the next billed day.
